How to Sign a PDF on iPhone

Open the PDF, choose Markup, tap the add button, select Signature, place and resize it, then tap Done and share the saved copy.
Add the signature
You can create a signature with your finger and reuse it later.
- Open the PDF.
- Tap Markup.
- Tap Add, then Signature.
- Create or choose a signature.
- Place it and tap Done.
Check before sending
Zoom in to confirm the signature sits on the correct line and that no form fields were missed. Save a separate signed copy when you want to preserve the blank original.
Common questions
Can I remove a saved signature?
Yes. Open the signature picker and manage the saved signatures.
Is this the same as a verified digital certificate?
No. Markup adds a visible signature; some legal or business workflows require certificate-based signing.
