Cuff and Sign in with Google

Updated October 7, 2026.

If you choose Sign in with Google, Cuff requests your basic Google account identity: your account identifier, name, and email address. Google sign-in and Firebase Authentication may also receive your Google profile picture URL, but Cuff does not automatically use that picture as your Cuff profile photo. Cuff does not request access to your Gmail, Google contacts, Calendar, or Drive.

Google credentials are processed by Google Firebase Authentication and Cuff's account recovery backend to sign in, recover and maintain your Cuff account and populate your profile. Your name, email address, and Firebase account identifier are stored with your Cuff profile in Google Firebase. Your first name initializes your Cuff display name; an existing display name you chose is retained.

Other Cuff members can see your display name and the profile photos you choose to upload. Your display name may also appear in chats and notifications. When you start a video call, Zoom processes your Cuff account identifier to provide that call.

We keep account information while your account is active. In Cuff, choose Profile > Account > Delete Account to remove your Cuff profile, profile images, and authentication account from active systems. Limited records needed for fraud prevention or legal obligations, operational logs, and temporary backups may remain under the retention practices described below.

You can revoke future Google access through your Google Account's third-party connections settings. Revoking access does not by itself delete your Cuff account or its stored data. For privacy, access, or deletion requests, contact team@renaissanceapps.com.

Meal AI: optional selfie and face data

Meal AI lets you optionally take or select a selfie during onboarding. The photo is used only on your device to personalize the subscription screen. You may skip this step. Meal AI does not analyze this selfie, identify you from it, detect faces, extract facial landmarks, create face templates, or derive biometric or health information from it. It does not generate an altered body image or predict a transformation.

The app resizes the selfie to a maximum dimension of 640 pixels, removes source image metadata, and saves one JPEG in protected private app storage on the device. This saved copy is excluded from device backups. It is not uploaded, shared with Renaissance Apps or third parties, sent to Firebase or AI services, or used for advertising or analytics. No selfie, image URL, face geometry, or biometric identifier is written to the cloud profile or subscription records.

The local copy stays until you replace it, choose Remove Photo in onboarding or in your profile, or delete the app. Remove Photo deletes this saved local copy. A source photo you selected from Photos remains in your photo library; you control its deletion there. The selfie feature is separate from meal-photo analysis and never sends the selfie through that analysis service.

Onyx dating, profile photos, and face data

Onyx does not collect or derive biometric face data. Onyx does not perform face detection, facial recognition, identity verification, facial-landmark extraction, face-template creation, or biometric profiling. Onyx asks members to choose a clear profile photo that ordinarily shows their face, but the app handles the photo only as an ordinary profile image.

The profile image is compressed on the device and uploaded over an encrypted connection to a user-specific path in Google Firebase Storage. Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch checks the image only for adult, racy, or violent content; it is not asked to identify a face or person. An approved image is displayed to compatible, authenticated Onyx members in Discover, Likes You, matches, and conversations. Onyx does not sell profile photos, use them for advertising, or disclose them to data brokers.

Google Firebase stores the profile image until the member replaces it or deletes the Onyx account. The associated image URL and moderation status are stored with the member's Firebase profile. Choosing Delete account in Onyx deletes the profile, matches, messages, entitlement record, authentication account, and user-scoped profile images from active systems. Google may retain limited encrypted backups and operational or security logs until they expire under its normal service lifecycle or for longer when legally required.

Onyx also stores the profile details a member enters, likes, matches, messages, reports, blocks, purchase entitlements, and notification token as needed to provide and secure the dating service. Profile text and messages are screened for prohibited content. Reports are available to Renaissance Apps for moderation and enforcement.

A member may start a video call only with a mutual match. Zoom Video SDK processes live audio and video during that user-initiated call. Onyx does not record or store the call. Camera and microphone access is requested only for this feature.

Chart AI and chart images

Chart AI processes only the chart image or screenshot you deliberately select or capture, the optional chart context you enter, an anonymous account identifier, App Store subscription entitlement records, the number and time of completed analyses, and basic operational error information. Chart AI does not request brokerage credentials, account balances, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers.

A selected chart is resized and stripped of image metadata on the device, uploaded over an encrypted connection to a user-specific path in Google Firebase Storage, and read by a Renaissance Apps cloud function solely to create the chart study you requested. The cloud function sends the chart and optional context to the OpenAI API for that same purpose. The Firebase copy of the chart is deleted immediately when the analysis request finishes, whether the request succeeds or fails. The written chart study is saved only on your device unless you choose to share it through an iOS feature.

Renaissance Apps does not sell chart images or studies, use them for advertising, or share them with data brokers. OpenAI does not use API inputs or outputs to train its models by default. OpenAI may retain API content in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days unless a longer period is legally required, under its API data controls. Google may retain short-lived encrypted backups and operational logs according to its normal service lifecycle.

Chart AI does not collect face data. A chart screenshot may incidentally contain a face, such as a profile thumbnail, but Chart AI does not detect, identify, recognize, measure, compare, extract facial landmarks from, create templates from, or otherwise process a face as face or biometric data. Any incidental face pixels are handled only as part of the ordinary image under the upload, processing, sharing, and deletion practices above. Face data is not stored separately, retained by Renaissance Apps, or shared as face data with any third party.

You can delete on-device studies from Chart AI Settings. Choosing Delete Account & Cloud Data deletes the anonymous cloud profile and any remaining user-scoped chart uploads. Deleting the app removes its on-device history.

RemoteTV (formerly Rokuku) and tracking permission

RemoteTV collects an anonymous Firebase User ID, onboarding progress, touchpad usage, and App Store purchase entitlement records to provide app functionality. With your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, your User ID is also collected for advertising measurement across other companies’ apps and websites. RemoteTV asks for this permission on the first active launch on iPhone and iPad, before setting up the User ID used for tracking.

If you decline or tracking is restricted, your User ID is not made available for tracking; essential authentication and purchase records remain available for app functionality. The app records the permission status separately for each installation in Google Firebase and removes that installation’s tracking User ID when it observes that permission has been withdrawn. You can change the choice in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking. RemoteTV checks the current choice when it becomes active. Declining tracking does not prevent onboarding or TV control. For access or deletion requests, contact team@renaissanceapps.com with the User ID shown in Settings.

Photo Cleaner Tidy and TikTok advertising measurement

With your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, versions of Tidy that support TikTok measurement share limited information with TikTok to measure and improve our ads. This includes device identifiers, such as Apple's advertising identifier, vendor identifier, and an SDK-generated identifier; product interactions, such as opening the app; and purchase history, such as trial, subscription, and paid purchase events with the product, amount, currency, and subscription status. TikTok also receives basic device and app information, including app version, device model, operating system, IP address, language settings, and user agent, along with SDK diagnostics, such as crash and performance information.

Tidy does not send your photo library, photos, image contents, filenames, photo metadata, or photo counts to TikTok. This integration does not send your Firebase User ID, email address, phone number, or onboarding answers to TikTok.

TikTok measurement starts only after you allow tracking. If you decline or tracking is restricted, the TikTok SDK does not start and Tidy still works. You can change your choice in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking. Tidy checks your current choice when it becomes active and stops sending TikTok measurement events if permission has been withdrawn.

Separately, Apple's privacy-preserving attribution system may provide delayed, aggregate reports about ad-driven installs and activity. These reports do not provide us with your advertising identifier and are separate from the TikTok SDK events shared with tracking permission.

PressureNote and Meta advertising measurement

PressureNote stores your blood pressure readings, pulse, notes and profiles on your device. It does not upload them to Renaissance Apps or Meta. Apple Health imports remain on your device. Reports and backups leave the app only when you choose to export or share them.

In versions supporting Meta measurement, the Meta SDK starts only after you allow tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Meta then receives device identifiers, including the advertising identifier and SDK-generated identifiers, and app-open events to measure our advertising. Requests also contain basic app and device information, such as app version, device model, operating system, language, screen dimensions and IP address. We do not send readings, notes, profiles, HealthKit data, screen contents, health-related activity or purchases to Meta. Automatic event collection and advanced matching are disabled.

If you decline or tracking is restricted, the Meta SDK does not start and PressureNote remains available. PressureNote checks your current tracking choice when it becomes active and stops sending app-open events if permission is withdrawn. Change your choice in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking. Separately, Apple's privacy-preserving attribution system may provide delayed aggregate install reports without advertising identifiers or health information.

You can delete readings and family profiles in the app. Deleting PressureNote removes its local records; exported copies remain wherever you saved or shared them. For privacy, access or deletion requests about advertising measurement, contact team@renaissanceapps.com. Meta processes measurement data under its applicable terms and privacy policy; withdrawing permission stops future app-open sharing and does not automatically erase information previously received by Meta.

Information we collect

Depending on the app and features you choose, we may collect account identifiers, information you enter, photos or files you select, purchase entitlement data, device information, and basic diagnostics. We collect only what is needed to provide, secure, and improve the feature you requested.

FrameLift and face data

FrameLift does not collect face data. It does not perform face detection, facial recognition, identity verification, facial-landmark extraction, face-template creation, or biometric profiling. A video selected by a user may incidentally contain a face, but FrameLift reads that video only on the user's device to display and export the exact frame the user requests.

Selected videos and generated frames are not uploaded to Renaissance Apps, Firebase, Google Cloud, OpenAI, or any other third party. Processing occurs entirely on the device. Firebase receives only an anonymous authentication identifier and App Store subscription entitlement records; those records do not include videos, frames, photos, face images, facial geometry, or biometric identifiers.

FrameLift makes a temporary local copy of a selected video while it is being edited and may create a temporary local frame file when the user saves or shares a frame. These files remain in the app's private temporary storage until iOS removes temporary files or the user deletes the app. Renaissance Apps cannot access or delete these local files remotely. A frame the user chooses to save to Photos or share through iOS remains at the destination selected by the user and can be deleted by the user there.

LevelUp and photos

LevelUp uses only the photos you choose to create the professional headshots you request. Photos are not used for identity verification, facial recognition, advertising, or sale. Source photos and generated results are stored in Google Firebase so your studio can finish and your results remain available when you return.

LevelUp sends the selected photos and generation instructions to the OpenAI API solely to create your requested images. OpenAI does not use API inputs or outputs to train its models by default. OpenAI may retain limited API content for safety and abuse monitoring under its API data controls.

You can delete a studio and its photos from the studio menu. You can delete all LevelUp data from Settings by choosing Delete Account.

How we use information

We use information to provide app features, complete purchases, maintain your preferences and results, prevent misuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information or use selected photos for targeted advertising.

Service providers

We use service providers only as needed to operate our products. These may include Apple for purchases, Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, storage, databases, and app infrastructure, and OpenAI for requested AI features. Providers process information under their applicable terms and privacy commitments.

Data retention and deletion

We keep information only for as long as needed to deliver the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or protect the service. When an in-app deletion control is available, it removes the associated data from our active systems. Limited records may be retained when required by law, for fraud prevention, or in temporary backups that expire on their normal schedule.

Security and transfers

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to limit access and protect stored information.

Your choices

You may decline optional permissions, remove content using available in-app controls, or ask us to access or delete information associated with you. California, EEA, UK, and other residents may have additional rights under local law.

Children

Our apps follow the age rating shown on their store listing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent is required without obtaining that consent.
